Since the installation of the Axon EMR System there is no more energy wasted prioritizing which reports to disseminate. Lost jackets are now a thing of the past. The level of chaos has been drastically reduced, our priority setting is now driven by one factor alone, the immediateness of the patient’s need for the study.

Every department, ER, ICU or Nursing, all get access to the reports the instant they are completed. We are now twice as efficient with half the administration people involved. Every single department in the hospital has praised our efficiency since the system’s introduction.

Interfacing with Systems
Integration with all other systems with an HL7 interface means Admission, Discharge and Transfer are now all handled in one system. Integration with the PACS, for example, means insurance information, scanned image and checkout time could all be viewed on one computer screen at the same time.

Installation and Training
Paquette Software made sure they thoroughly understood the workflow of our entire department in the minutest detail, with all our nuances, in advance of the installation. All the required equipment arrived well in advance. The planning ahead of time made the installation incredibly smooth.

The installation team stayed with us until every member of staff was trained to perform their specific function. All of our staff felt 100% confidant about their part of the system before the installation team left.
